CUSTOM REDESIGN: small changes, all the difference
Not every jewellery redesign calls for a complete transformation. Sometimes, the smallest and most considered changes are the ones that make all the difference.
Our client wanted to refresh her original engagement ring while preserving the design she had always loved. The ring was originally set in platinum, but she dreamed of something warmer, so we reset her stones in 14kt yellow gold to complement her existing plain gold wedding band.
We also lowered the side profile of the setting, allowing the two rings to sit beautifully flush alongside one another. Delicate claws kept the design feeling refined and minimal, while the pear-shaped side stones framed the round centre stone perfectly, adding softness and balance to the timeless trilogy design.
The result was familiar, yet completely renewed. A subtle transformation that allowed her to fall in love with her engagement ring all over again.

A Story We Didn’t See Coming
What made this project even more special was what was happening behind the scenes. In a beautiful coincidence, both partners had been in touch with us privately. Each planning a surprise for the other.
He chose to upgrade her centre stone, increasing its size while keeping the essence of her original ring intact. At the very same time, she commissioned a 4mm sterling silver men’s wedding band for him, after he misplaced his original. Inside, she engraved it with: αγάπη μου ’21, “my love” in Greek, marking the year they were married.
They exchanged the rings on the same day. Our hearts could have exploded!
A Stone for the Future
In a deeply meaningful decision, her husband chose to set aside her original centre stone, not to be reset now, but to be passed down. One day, it will be given to one of their sons, to use in a proposal of his own. A continuation of the story in the most beautiful and meaningful way.
