This design began with the stone: a captivating 1ct fancy light brown cushion-cut diamond, chosen for its warmth, depth and beautifully unusual character.

Our client wanted a standalone statement piece that felt special and impactful, yet effortless enough to wear every day. We designed a contemporary signet-style ring around the diamond, using a smooth, sculptural silhouette and a softly tapered band to give the piece a sense of weight and presence.

The diamond was set low into the gold, allowing its warm honey tones to take centre stage while creating a practical, comfortable ring for daily wear. Minimal in detail but bold in form, the finished piece feels both modern and timeless.
