The Reimagined Solitaire
After 10 years of marriage, our client came to us ready to reimagine her engagement ring and wedding band. Both pieces, a platinum halo-style engagement ring and diamond-set wedding band, had been worn and loved daily, but over time the bands had broken.
She felt this was a sign that she had outgrown the style and wanted something modern and bold that represented her and their love story today.
We worked closely with her to redesign the piece using only her original cushion-cut centre diamond, with all remaining smaller diamonds carefully removed and set aside for future pieces.
The centre stone was removed from its halo and reset into a clean, sculptural design in 9ct yellow gold. A softly structured, ribbed band creates gentle dimension and depth, giving the ring a bold yet refined presence, while the delicate claw setting allows the diamond to remain the focal point.
The result is a piece that feels entirely her, as she honors the original engagement ring through the centre stone, while evolving into something more aligned with her personal style.
To mark the moment, her husband got down on one knee and proposed again, celebrating their 10 years of marriage. Such a special moment to be a part of, and exactly why we do what we do.
